The first season of Queer as Folk, an American and Canadian television series, consisted of twenty-two episodes and premiered on Showtime on December 3, 2000, in the United States and on Showcase on January 22, 2001, in Canada.

I guess that's because it was ahead of its time when it was done. That's why especially Season 1 feels so exciting, I think. My criticism wasn't specifically about QAF but about my issues with this in general. I do know that the internet has changed a lot here and like I said, I'm quite used to the advantages, too.
